New Mobile Version of the Customer Paradigm Site Launched

Monday, November 17, 2008

We're very excited to announce that we've just launched a new mobile version of the <a href="http://www.customerparadigm.com/">www.CustomerParadigm.com</a> site (Try visiting it on your mobile device).

The way in which it works:

- If someone comes to the site, our PageDirector Content Management System (CMS) checks to see if the browser type = a mobile browser (we have a list of about 100 of them).

- If yes, then it displays the 'mobile.html' template vs. the 'standard.html' template used by the rest of the site.

One of the drawbacks of trying to use a full site on a small mobile browser is that it can take a long time to download everything, and you might have too many links to wade through. And for the iPhone, if there's flash on the site, that won't display at all.

This is something that's easy to implement for anyone who has PageDirector installed... Let us know if you see any bugs with this.
