Moving to a bigger office (255% bigger)
The last few weeks, it's been clear: we've literally run out of desks for the team. People have been working at the conference tables, and even doubling up. So we're excited that we're making the move at the end of the month to a new office. The good news: it's just down the hall. The other good news: we're going to move our suite number, too. So we don't need to have anyone change the address on file. The postal guy seemed to think that was a good idea... so as long as he's aboard, we're in good shape.
We'll have a big open house when it's all painted and moved in... but I think our best purchase so far was a new Foosball table from Craigslist for $40.

Cheesy Flash Intros to Avoid - Sample Sites
Thanks to David Abrams, for responding to my latest newsletter about avoiding cheesy flash intros to avoid.
Here's his suggestions:
1. This one takes the cake. You have a 2048 by 1280 display? Too bad. We are going to open a 500 by 500 window to show you our store locations. Have fun scrolling. Every page is flash. Try it with even a 768K connection and you want to kill yourself within minutes.
http://www.splashspritzo.com/2. This one, too: On a slow connection time how long it takes to get to the (useless) map of where they are located.

Great new site
A wonderful new site that lets you see if your website (or the website you're trying to visit) is down for everyone on the web, or if it's just you. I read about this today, and it's a great example of a simple site with a single purpose. The site is: http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
But what happens when this site goes down? What then??
